On June 9, 2015, I was the guest on episode 20 of the SuperHuman Academy Podcast, Jonathan Levi's show, then running under its Becoming SuperHuman banner. The episode title did not undersell the specificity of the booking: "The Future of Wearable Technology & Cybernetics with Double RFID Chip Implantee Amal Graafstra."

We spent the half hour on the practical end of the subject: what implantable RFID does day to day, how it stacks up on security against the keys and cards it replaces, and why I keep describing human-machine integration as a kind of evolution rather than a stunt.

Podcasts were becoming their own lane for this subject around 2015. The format could run past the three-minute television segment and into the questions people ask once the novelty wears off. This one is a good example of why I kept saying yes to them.
