Amal Graafstra is a technologist and biohacking pioneer widely regarded as the world's first double RFID implantee, having placed RFID chips in both hands in 2005 to unlock doors, start his car, and log into computers without a key or password. He is the author of RFID Toys (Wiley, 2006), and the founder of Dangerous Things (est. 2012), a pioneer of commercial RFID and NFC implants, and VivoKey Technologies (est. 2017), which builds cryptographic identity implants. A TEDx speaker, he has spent twenty years in front of cameras and microphones - from Good Morning America and CNN to Dr. Phil and Discovery Channel - talking about implantable technology and the future of human-machine identity.
