On March 26, 2021, the maker channel NeutrinoTek published "Becoming a Cyborg: Biohacking and RFID/NFC Implants". The twenty-minute video walks through the technology, works the FAQ-and-misconceptions list, documents the installation of his own injectable implant, shows it in action, and then sits down with me for an interview starting at 11:48.

His stated motivation is the kind of sentence I could put on a T-shirt: "After learning more about Biohacking and Transhumanism, I decided that my life was missing something... implantable microchips!" I have been introduced many ways over the years; his billing of "founder of Dangerous Things and Biohacker Extraordinaire" is among the more flattering.

The main video only had room for roughly eight minutes of our conversation, so on April 5 he published part two, opening with: "As promised, here is the full interview I did with Amal for my last video." Forty-five minutes, uncut. Two-parters like this were the 2021 version of what a network camera crew did in 2006, except now the interviewer gets the implant first and publishes the whole tape.
